Contra $beta^{*}$-continuous and almost contra $beta^{*}$-continuous functions

The notion of contra continuous functions was introduced and investigated by Dontchev. In this paper, we apply the notion of $beta^{*}$-closed sets in topological space to present and study a new class of functions called contra $beta^{*}$-continuous and almost contra $beta^{*}$-continuous functions as a new generalization of contra continuity.

The h - index of a conglomerate Ronald Rousseau

Conglomerates are generalized frameworks for informetric research. In this article, the h-index of a conglomerate is defined and it is shown how this construction generalizes the standard definition of the h-index. It is further shown how non-trivial constructions, such as Prathap’s h-indices, fit well into a conglomerate framework. An example illustrates the use of the conglomerate framework.
